I am Ketrena Kirkland-Heatley, the proud owner of Makeuphighlights.com, and today I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt request. We have a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of breast cancer survivors in Charleston, SC, and we need your support. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to host a community event at Greater Macedonia AME Church on October 5, 2024.
The event holds tremendous significance for me because I lost my mother, Delores Kirkland and good friend, Shoneese Bostick to cancer. Breast cancer is a battle that affects countless lives, and it is our collective responsibility to come together and uplift those who have faced this daunting challenge. This fundraiser will extend a helping hand to uninsured women, offering them a day of celebration, support, and encouragement.
As someone deeply committed to empowering survivors, I have witnessed firsthand the resilience and strength they possess. This event will be a powerful symbol of unity, bringing survivors and their loved ones together to share their stories, celebrate milestones, and find solace in a supportive community.
To bring this vision to life, we need your generous contributions. The funds raised will primarily go towards renting the event space at Greater Macedonia AME Church, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for all attendees. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the esteemed Susan G.
